2015 Year in Review

NAS Key West Homes thanks our residents for another great year!
2015 has truly been an eventful year for NAS Key West Homes. While Resident Specialists were busy signing leases and welcoming new residents to our community, LifeWorks Coordinators planned innovative and engaging events, and Maintenance Technicians kept homes in tip-top shape. It’s been a great year, and we’d like to take the time to thank the community at NAS Key West Homes for their ongoing support and recap some of this year’s highlights.

This year, Balfour Beatty Communities Foundation provided 53 academic scholarships to children of active-duty military members residing at BBC-managed properties.

NAS Key West Homes also received a CEL award, for the Truman Annex neighborhood - recognizing excellence in customer feedback.

This year we had many community updates including:
- We welcomed 272 new residents this year!
- Our team installed two new playgrounds and updated 8 townhome building exteriors.

We also welcomed nine employees to our team! Be sure to stop by the Community Management Office and say hello!

Our LifeWorks program strives to strengthen community relationships by providing events for residents of all ages to engage in a variety of social and learning activities. Programs are held throughout the year and are free for our residents. In 2015, NAS Key West Homes hosted 215 events.

A few of our memorable events from 2015 include:
- Santa Fire Truck- more than 800 residents in attendance!
- Karaoke/Costume Party- more than 200 residents in attendance!

This year, our sustainability achievements include installing 780 solar panels to the homes and 3 Community Centers.

An enhanced PCS rewards program has been rolled out across all military properties managed by Balfour Beatty Communities and we welcome all PCSing residents to take advantage of this opportunity. If you are a current resident and choose to live with another BBC-managed community, our staff will assist you with a streamlined transfer and you can receive a $100 reward!

In 2015, we also entered into a partnership with other military housing agencies to make PCS moves easier. No matter the installation, we can refer you to your new housing management office – whether a Balfour Beatty Communities, Winn, United or Corvias community. More information will be provided during the move-out process.

While 2015 was a great year, there are many things to look forward to at NAS Key West Homes, including:
- New playgrounds in Truman Annex
- Continued exterior renovation throughout the neighborhoods
